Hey all, picked up a 66 Fury a few weeks ago. It's was really nice and solid, but she needed some love. The previous owner installed a 360 from a 99 Ram. They did a really nice job. Car runs and drives very well. I'm proud to call her mine!

What I've done so far:

-Power brake booster, pedal assembly swap
-Fuel tank & sending unit. Removed a 2nd unused fuel pump.
-Replaced passenger side door and fender
-Hooked up and replaced heater core
-Replace trunk lid, original tail lights and rewire
-Stripped hood of putty, removed and reattached scoop.
-Replaced voltage regulator
-Fixed various rusty areas
-Epoxy and filler primed.

Fuel pump went on me here a couple days ago. It was a 30 gph, 2.5-4 psi, pump. I never had any probs with it, until it quit. I installed a powerflow from summit (35 gph 5-7 psi). Seems to work ok till I really get after it. Then it feels like it is starved. My fuel pressure regulator is holding 5 psi at idle but drops to 2, just revving it up. My old pump dropped psi too, but it never ran funny. I assume, turning the pressure up at the regulator, would cause it to lose more psi faster? I installed a new tank, sending unit, and have a 3/8 line w/no return line at the regulator. I ordered another pump, similar to the original, with a higher psi rating(5-9). Hoping that takes care of it. Thoughts or suggestions?
