1983 Dodge Ramcharger
This is my 2wd Ramcharger i drove after high school. It is my next project when the Plymouth is finished, right now i have plans of a 440 swap.

I never knew they made the Ramchargers as 2wd. I guess that would make sense though since they did it with the jeep cherokees later on. Looks like a solid base for your build. You'll sure have plenty of room for the 440.

i saw a 2wd one that had been lowered a couple of inches, painted black, really dark tint,a set of nice rims but not ricerey. it would make a nice street/strip beast. i wish i could find one in decent shape around here.

I think they would make the ultimate sleeper with a nice 440 under the hood. I picked this one up a few years ago for $1200 bucks. It has a strong running 360, but there is no replacement for displacement.

what you doin for intake? 4bbl, dual 4's, or six pack. its expensive but i think the six pack with the shaker hood would be sexy as hell on your ramcharger.

Probably just a 4bbl, it is still in the planning stage at the moment until i get the road runner done. I have a good 440 ready for teardown, but you are right that would be sexy. Anyone ever seen a ramcharger with a shaker??

Probably more of a street/strip build, im planning on building a pretty hairy 440. There would be nothing better then seeing the look on some kid in a 5.0 mustangs face when he gets waxed by a 5,000 pound truck lol.

you should have heard the line of excuses when i beat my friend in his 98 neon. My spark plugs are old, ive got snow tires one, i got a bad start, i used bad gas, i need an oil change. well my car weighs 4000 with me in it, is 25 years old, had chunksof oil in the oil valley around the pushrods, had snow tires on it, and with the carb i had on then it was fouling out plugs in around 600 miles and there were500 miles on that set. Even though ive given him many times to get his car right (he has put in bigger injectors, a bigger throttle body, and a cold air intake) he still cant beat my fifth avenue. however one of my frineds has a 92 mustang with a 5.0 that i cant even come close to touching. but with that 440 and a little bit of nos hidden somewhere that would be one hell of a competition for it.

Probably start with the motor to make sure it will fit, and drive it for awhile but i have plans for new paint and interior somewhere down the road.
