This is my 1977 Dodge D150 Warlock 360 V-8 W/727... It has been my daily driver 1980 all the way until today, as I still drive it daily. This old war dog and I have been many many mile. and have seen many sunsets and sunrises. It has been painted 2 times, it has always been black. It has had 3 interiors, 3 Transmissions, 3 Engines "all 360's", 2 frontend overhauls, 2 frame welding for the gear box, the last fix fixed it for good..lol, 3 bed wood kits, 5 stereos systems, He has the OEM rearend w/3.23, He is 500,000 + miles and still taking me to work making me a annual income. I cant tell you how much love I have for Ma-Mopar. And to answer your question?? No I don't know how many sets of tires or brake jobs we have gone through...
I have had lot of Cars and Trucks over the years, But this one has hung in there rite by me...
Ooowee, bitchin' Warlock! I had a '76, 2wd factory 440 truck that I saved from a salvage yard several years ago. Completely intact and rust free but beat to a pulp. I sold it to a guy up near Nashville who was going to do a frame-off resto on it. I think I have a picture of it on my homepage.
Back in Feb 2017, I was about 6 years into a rebuild of a 1974 Plymouth Scamp with a 226" Slant Six project, this car was almost ready to head to the body shop and then the upholstery shop. I had been driving it for about 6 months after bring this junk back from a shell. and Some dude on a raining night feel asleep and totaled out the Scamp and all my hard work. And No, I did not have enough gap insurance. I was and still am sick. It was only parked on the street (Waiting) for rush hour traffic to slow so I could park it in the work area for some more tuning... To this day, I'm still fighting with the insurance company to try to get paid the proper amount..
DONT LOOK IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH....
This is the before shot....
Dang that makes me ill. Brings back memories of a friend's Chargers. He had a survivor '69 RT/SE and a number matching 440 '73 Charger Rallye and had just washed each of them and parked them in front of his house while he cleaned up all of his car wash mess when the disaster happened. A drunk came sailing down the residential street and hit the R/T in the rear, so hard it broke the rear window with the back bumper. It was an instant total loss. Even worse was he hit it so hard he knocked the '69 into the '73, doing heavy but repairable damage to it as well. Another friend bought the '69 to part out for his '68, which I later bought with all of the parts left from the '69. Had lots of trim left but only one side; everything from the other side was to damaged to use.
I was doing a little work in the office and came across this photo today. 77 Dodge half ton that started as a 2wd, 360, duel tanks, buddy seat, tack, Adventurer in metallic black a nice truck. I acquired it in a trade in 1985 a little rusty with stuck rings from never leaving town in 60k.
A pile of new sheetmetal and my 600 dollar pickup was no more, rebuilt the torque flight and 360 with a few goodies I found a 8 3/4 with it a 3.55 LS diff. and I had a shop truck to pull my Plymouth.
In 91 I came up with a 4x4 frame so that got rebuilt another 727 and with the blessing of the DOT the body and 360 and 8 3/4 was swapped into the new frame. This was one of my favorite projects, it was on going and I had it for twenty five years.
the 1st time I saw him...
We've done alot over the last 3 years
new hood, flowmaster exhaust, Diablo power tuner, Eibach lowering springs & shocks, custom painted engine cover, Oracle wheel lights & illuminated emblem on trunk, aluminum side skirts, Mopar fins, trimmed in matching blue, to name a few... Lol
Luckily my husband and I are both car fanatics so every holiday we give each other stuff for our cars....
Any other 2012 75th anniversary cars here???
My '55. 6.1L hemi, '69 hemi 4 speed. 2010 Challenger rear end and brakes.
I know I'm late to the party on this, but what years is that? My wife's father just built a wonderful looking '56, Job Rated too. What are the specs on that red beast?
