Red face

This is a silly question but what is the benefits of the cross ram manifolds is there a performance aspect or is it for looks? If it is looks(doubt it) then dang looks really good. I really like those manifolds I never knew that there was such a thing.

It was a design of an intake thats about it, more torque I believe due to the long intake runner.

the longer mainfolds created more velocity when the air and fuel entered the combustion chamber
they worked, but they had their problems too...

also, and especially with automatics, the cross ram manifolds had a tendency to stall the engine at idle

(if a mod could move this thread to members rides thatd be sweet)
Motors at the machine shop, other parts that i got are the comp cam steel roller rockers(http://www.compperformancegroupstore...&Category_Code=)
And wiseco pro tru forged flat top pistons. The motor should be done in a few weeks. The car is still at glass 2 weeks later , the guy broke a window and had to order a new one. soon as its back i gotta double check on the backspacing to order the rims then its off again to get the interior finshied, pics will follow...
