Tire guy is coming to the shop in the next couple of days to advise on wheels and tires and whether any backspacing is required. Also need product so spare tire mount can be properly placed for wheel and tire combo to fit.

If not Major Overdraft, then maybe Fort Knox...lol. Tire guy in this morning. Getting 17x9 rims and BF Goodrich 37's. Hope to have some pictures of that at the end of the week.

Stopped into the shop this morning. Front and rear bumpers mocked up. Some angling going to happen I think. Told the boys to they have a free hand on how they want it to look. I trust them. Might pop back later today to see what progress has been made.

One thing to keep in mind with the larger wheels and tires is you might want better breaks at least on the front. Large wheel/tire combinations are heavy.

Thanks. They do good work. They see it as great advertising. I may have to come completely out of retirement to pay for it all, or strike up an advertising contract with them...lol

Front bumper done. Work started on running boards. Springs, eventually, will be removed from truck and redone by an outfit in Prince George...an hour north. We discussed paint today. I decided to go with a black rhino plast on the bumpers and running boards. Money flowing out at a record rate. Maybe I should start a GOFUNDME page..lol.

Box off and old floor cut out. Some new weathered steel ready to go for new floor. I guess the weathering process helps when it comes to sandblasting. We also decided to remove the two batteries from under the floor and instead have them on the driver's side running board. We are thinking of old ammo boxes if we can find the right size. If not, they'll build something similar.

Working on aligning doors. But the best news is that Dennis has his new leg and is getting more mobile. He even went out to the pub last night.

Another delay as we wait for parts to finish the box. In the meantime, new steel put into the front fenders to take new brackets. Slowly, slowly...lol.

There's going to be a cloud of bondo dust soon, I can see it coming followed by primer and paint fumes.

You need a swing down step on each side powered by an air, electric or hydraulic actuator.

I know
