Super Dakota

My son wanted a Superman theme..... turns out I kinda like it.
We've been working on it since the snow melted and he wanted to rework the hood scoop.
One thing lead to another, metal flake blue being his favorite
thing. Here are a couple pics....

One of the better profile pics

Our Head liner project

We are having a great time with this truck, work a little, argue a little but at the end of the day we are happy with what we've done... for the most part

Thanks guys, we are having a lot of fun.

We just installed a new Edelbrock 1404 500 cfm AFB carb tonight.
I think it's going to be a pretty good match with the Edlebrock Performer duel plan intake we stuck on her earlier this year.

We'll see tomorrow night

Joe.

That looks friggin sharp! I feel like somehow putting fins on the back of that truck would look fantastic. Did you use the 3M glue for the headliner?

For the fabric we used Elmers spray on glue, which seemed to be just the cats meow when we did it. But now it has started to let go in one spot .

Does 3M make a spray on glue for this? Sounds like it might have been a better choice.

Yes they do. Lowes, HD, ACE all carry it.
