Hey guys i finally decided to break down and ask someone for advice. I have a 91 power ram 250 with a 360 TBI. A couple weeks ago it started to really bog down when at half to full throttle. I would shut it off and start it back up and the problem was gone. it would only do it every couple of days and when i shut it off and start it back up the problem is gone and she runs awesome. But then today the problem just wouldnt go away.. 15 miles all the way to work and then all the way back home..on my way home i pulled over and just put the petal to the floor in park. and it would rev up a little bit bog way down almost to a stop and then rev up a little bit and it would do that 5 or 6 times until it just quit. but it started right up again. when i got home i watched the intake while reving it up and a huge flame shot out of the throttle body and cought my injectors on fire but it stayed running. i shut it off and put the fire out and it started back up and ran fine. what could it be? stuck lifter, cracked intake or bad gasket? blockage in fuel supply?
