yeah you can do that, I think the only diff. in the block are the lifter bores are taller. The bores are at the same angle and they have the same diameter. you will have to use the corresponding pushrods. {the ones for hydraulic flat tappet LA style, if this is a magnum, might have to get them aftermarket}

Why do you want to change to the hyd. flat tappet?
