The electronics will make it a pain..

It's a whole lot easier if you get the correct transmission that is to bolt right up to the specific year 5.9L.

Just get the Gen III Hemi and a 5 speed.

Find a rolled 2wd truck and use the whole wiring harness, engine, tranny and rear axle. You may need to lengthen the wires but that is easy. You'll want 94 to 01 (1500) and 02 (2500) ram trucks or vans if you want MPFI. If you don't mind TBI then late 80s to 93 will be the way you want to go.

If my memory serves me right (its bee known to be off) then the A518 and A618 trannys that are 2wd are hyro shoft, not electronic, so that will save you some headache with wiring.

Another vehicle is a 2wd Ramcharger. They are hard to find, but are out there still.

Could not tell you as I have not done it before. I would imagine that you will need to fab up a tranny crossmember though at least and find a good spot of the ECM and PDB.
