Accel Super Coil
Hello,
I have a simple but frustrating question to ask your advice on. I have an accel super coil (14001) on my hot rod. It started leaking oil so I purchased a brand new coil. All I did was replace the coil. Just the coil plug wire and the wires from the positive and negative terminals.
Went to start it back up and no spark? Put the old coil back in thinking possible the new one was bad...and nothing? I don't understand how the vehicle ran perfectly (I backed into the garage) replaced the coil and now nothing...I checked fuses etc.,
Just banging my head on the ground as I'm not sure what could have caused this? I checked all the wiring again, fuses, etc.,
Any suggestions before I take it into a shop?
Thanks in advance,

The ground is still grounded and the positive is still hot?

I'd put the old coil back in and see if it fires, if it does I'd say you have a bad new coil.

Ty -
Check both ends of all the wires you replaced. I know you said you did, but check again.
Does the car have any power to anything, ie, it the battery set up and grounded correctly (does the engine crank)?
Think of the stupidest thing that could have happened, and that'll be it - always is.
