car wont start again

i have a 1974 plymouth duster its a 5.2 V8 318

just recently i posted about my car not starting, then i replaced the battery and it worked fine, but i should have noticed that it might not have been the battery.

I tried starting it again this morning and when i go to crank it started idled for 2 seconds then died, i did it again same thing,
now when i turn the key nothing happens just empty blank. The lights inside the car turn on.

just wondering what all the possibilites could be for this.

I can give this much detail
I replaced the ignition coil and module
replaced the battery (new and charged)
The lights in the car come on,so once again its not the battery.
i doubt its the engine because it has been running really clean just a few days ago with no misfires or anything of that nature
i have fuel, i have engine oil.
Also i just did a test, the light comes on when i enter the car, but when i go to turn the key it dies off, and does not come back on( jiggled the battery cables and it comes back on, so could it also be that my battery cables are bad?

Im thinking its some of the cables but i have very little knowledge about cars, my mechanic usually figures this out.

any help would be appreciated

Just for the record, voltage = pressure!!!! In a 12 volt system, the need for tight and CLEAN connections cannot be over stressed! Those "spikey" star washers the factory used were made to bite through the paint. I deal with 120-480volt that blow thru small amounts of corrosion that would stop a 12volt system in its tracks. But perfect clean is the goal.
