Talking Help Me ID This Engine

Can anyone help me ID this engine?
It is in a 1969 Dodge D100 pickup. The owner does not know the size and the truck is not close to me.
I beleive these are my choices:
273 LA
318 LA
383 RB

its not a 383 if it was the distributor would be in the front, i never came across a 273 in a truck, dont mean they never did use them in a truck, i would say its a 318.
there should be a stamp under the drivers side head on the front of the block that should say what it is,

273s and 318s look pretty dang well the same.

But im going to say 318. Tell the guy to look at the block underneath the driver head. It's stamped there.

LIke fury said, 383 is out of the question due to distributor location. In the mid to late 60s the Dodge trucks did come with both 273LA and 318LA motors. More of them came with the 318LA motors as this was a "perfect" motor for these trucks. I'd put my money on a 318 LA motor being in there. Even if it was 273 LA motor, you can swap it out for a 318 LA or 360 LA motor later on.

Any pics of the actual truck itself?
