360s are pretty much 360s. They did change some over the years getting more HP and then losing some. If you can get us the casting numbers off of it we can help you out. Also there are 2 or 3 clock looking casting, that may help us out too.

The clock looking things denote day shift night shift and time of day, but as Tim said get the numbers off the block and we can tell ya a few things.

I would call it equal to having a 340 with an upgrade or two. police cars always got the best stuff, especially when it comes to motors.

Check the boss above the water pump and check the block drivers side about halfway/middle just above the oil pan rail.

They are 360 heads that were produced from 77-86 They are 1.88/1.60
