I’m new to this car, and mopars really, but my car is a 1966 Chrysler imperial crown 440. But I’m having a problem and not sure if it’s my starter or ignition and wanted help. When I start my car my starter continues to try to start my car even after I shut the ignition off. So I disconnected my battery to stop it. Then I put my key into my ignition and would shake the key around, then I put my cable back on and it works just fine. Before I go and dump money that I don’t need to into something that won’t fix it, could you all help me with it? Thank you

 

Check the Starter Relay.... Could be hanging up...
