Vinyl Restoration

I've no any specific issue with my seats and dash but I would like to "refresh" them, restoring the original gloss (black) color
I've seen some interiors that seem to be like brand new part (even thought the are original restored items)
I know that some specific vinyl dye exists, but I would like to know if someone have had experience with it.
I've found this product and I'm wondering if I can use it on the seats of my '70 Challenger R/T: http://sem.ws/?home=1

A good friend of mine's neighbor has vinyl seats on his boat that he paints. He never got around to taking it out last year and the boat stayed covered in the shade. He opened it up in September and had to repaint the seats. Turns out the paint is only good for a year or so before it starts pealing off.
I would talk to an interior shop and see what they can do/recommend for you.
