WHAT CARB SHOULD I GO WITH

Is a 600 cfm carb going to be to much for a 318 with a mild performance cam, ported heads original size valves , performer intake, eventually headers, probabley 2.5 dual exhaust, pertronix ignition

I am on the fence weather to go with a 500 cfm or a 600 cfm carb, I don't want to drown the motor out but really have no basis to guage anything off of.

anyone with a similar setup and some insight would be awsome

Thanks

That 600 will be right at home on top of that 318. What is the vehicle?

i agree. 600 sounds good. i had same set up in my previous duster. actually had 650 edelbrock and she screamed. i started with a 550 demon and just was not enough. barely went down the street.
