Post up some pictures. There are lots of people that make mistakes with the Indy heads, and then there are those who dont have any problems.....
Anything in-particular you are concerned with on your build?

Big thing often missed is to check the push rod length

Edelbrock RPM, blueprinted and worked. Great heads for the price, angled plugs make headers and plug wires kind of cozy though.

I don't have any problems with my heads yet, but I'm thinking of changing the valve springs for lighter ones. As my rides more of a fast street car than a race only car . I want my engine to last & I'm thinking the springs that come with the Indy heads are just a bit more than I need just now. Plus I haven't stripped the heads althe way down yet. I had a few valves out a couple of years ago when we first built the engine when setting the timing & checking piston clearances .

The other reason for asking about the alloy heads , is because I live in oz there are hardly any shops that stock Mopar engine bits. So we or I are in the dark when it comes to what parts are out there. I have seen in a few magazines that people are using pro comp heads with good results. & I have read about people having issues with Indy heads . I also would like to know what sb heads to use in the future or if I was to build another engine down the track.

Can I post photo's that are in my profile album ? I have picks of my heads & engine etc. I'm now using a 7" tablet as my computer . I spoke to the Mopar guru today & I'm now taking my heads & self ported inlet manifold down to him this weekend to flow & I think the heads inlets may end up being bogged up & cause the Indy's are a little bit big for my std 383cid. Old mate seems to think the eddy victor manifolds the way to go. & he's going to check the spring pressure.& I now also need new headers as the spark plugs are going to run straight into my headers primary's.
