1.6 roller rockers B engine
1.6 roller rockers B engine
I have new Speedmaster heads and my old Crane Cams 64790-1 T Gold Race Roller Rockers 1.5 are a little too short so I thought the 0.100" longer 1.6 rockers would work.
I need suggestions for good valued 1.6 roller rockers.
Im not sure about self aligning.
thanks

self aligning?
are you talking about using the springs separating the rockers?
Because you should be using tubing and shims to separate the rockers.

One thing I didn't hear mentioned is that a roller tip can reduce side load on the valve stem. This has the potential to increase the service life of both, the valve and the guide. For those of us who want or need to build long lasting engines, that makes roller rockers an investment in durability, as well as reliability.
