I'd find a Shadow that is turbo and swap that all in. Another way is to find a turbo that is the right size for that size motor and then fab it in. You're looking at a lot more $$$$$ this way as there is a lot of customizing, not only to the intake, exhaust, intercooler (if you want) but to the wiring and software for the fuel injection.
Check out turbododge.com and see what they say. I'm sure that people over there will give yous ome good input.
Depending on how much you are looking to spend, you could always look into turning the front wheel drive "truck" to a rear wheel drive monster with a Magnum 360/46RH setup.

A turbo from 84 will need a rebuild but its the tubing, fittings, brackets, fuel regulator, etc.. that you need. Get a wrecked one to steal from.
Other than saving a HUGE amount of money buying a wrecked donor car you would have an extra block, heads and trans ( find similar model). If this is your first project you can disassemble and rebuild while you do your other projects.
As a first project a "plug and play" type project will be easier than a fabrication style one.
