1995 Dodge dakota V6 Magnum

Yes I've read all the forums. Yes I know what I am doing and what I plan to spend. Please leave if you just want to tell me to V8 swap. I am going to do that later. I have a perfectly good V6 to ruin first.

So I am rebuilding my 95 dakota ext cab slt rwd v6 from the ground up. I am getting a cam and upgrades from hughes ( http://www.hughesengines.com/Index/p...artid=30212#RP ) and i plan on buttoning up the bottom end and fabricating a supercharger. Stock the V6 magnum can eat 8-10 lbs of boost reliably as they already come with around a 9:1 compression ratio. I am shooting for 15-20. Any help in achieving this would be great. I want a sliver of reliability before I purposely boost it to death before swapping to an EXPENSIVE 360 build. Would be much cheaper and more fun this way than to buy a 318, swap it, blow it up, and then swap a 360.

Hello, yes of course it will be a fun, interesting project, but before spending money on v8, it might be worth spending money on v6 to improve it. There are a lot of cool things on the market right now, and turbocharging is not the least. I looking for Chevy 5.7 Vortec Engine Performance Upgrades on the resource https://nashvilleperformance.com/che...ance-upgrades/ very cool bomber thing
