How much Bore is to much for the block to handle on a 74 318 ?????

 

I wouldn't bore it any more than necessary to clean up the bore. Should be able to go .060" any more than that you would need to sonic check the bores for thickness.
Would also need custom pistons for anything over .060"

 

I've read somewhere that some blocks can't even take .040".... i would sonic test to find out how much you can actually go without over doing it.

 

Pulled motor and had checked.....It already 60 over.... He is checking to see if its possible to just Hone the block....If not , Im looking for a good 360 Block.........
