383 freeze plugs in backwards? HELP

383 freeze plugs in backwards? HELP

I recently purchased this 383 engine block and looks to me the freeze plugs are installed incorrectly, just looking for some thoughts. Are they ok? Will they function as designed, or should I remove and replace.

That is in rite... That's an Expansion plug... It fits in a groove....
