392 Spring Retainer Hitting Rocker arm

As my title suggests, my 392 with a cam swap has a rocker arm clearance problem. When the valve is all the way closed, the rocker arm body is hitting the spring retainer instead of the rocker tip on the stem. Its a TSP cam kit wtih 585 lift, PAC 1232x springs and the reccomended r311 retainers. Using johnson 2326 lifters and TSP supplied pushrods. How should I go about fixing this? Its a pretty servere contact issue. The damn rocker tip cant even touch the valve stem when the valve is closed. When I had the stock retainers on these springs, I didnt notice this issue. But I dont th8nk the stock retainers can survive 450 lbs.

Looks to me like the shaft needs to be shimmed and will need longer push rods?

What Bob said, and that retainer looks wrong ? My Drag Pak 392 was 0.605 Int lift and had 0.10<0.14 of clearance at the (chamfered edge) retainer! Try looking at what Comp Cams has to offer?
