440 Torker intake questions

I have a older Edelbrock 440 Torker intake manifold I plan on using in my 440 build. Its not the TorkerII that Edelbrock currently sells.Sometime in the Edelbrock history they made a manifold they called the Tarantula and the TM1 anf TM2 are these all the same manifolds with just a name change?

Zoomer -

The manifold in the picture is the Torker 440. It's a straight runner manifold, good from about 2500 - 6500 rpm. The straight runners are less efficient than the newer curved ones. Still, I've had good luck with it over the last 30 something years.

Believe the Trantula was a different manifold

I am going to stick with the Torker for now,I added a 2 in spacer along with a 850 Holley race carb, havent had a chance to street test the combo yet, so far the motor seems to like it.

I believe the tm6 (383) or tm7 (440) models which were known as the Tarantula not the current Torker or Torker ll.
