Carb change for Lean Burn Conversion

I am planning on converting the lean burn in my 76 Cordoba 400 4bbl, to an electronic distributor. I am also looking at switching out the Carburetor. I plan on switching to another Carter TQ. A couple questions. Can I use a TQ from a 360 (1974) or a TQ from a 440 or a TQ from a 400 Truck? also, does it matter if its off a manual transmission or not?

Thanks for any help.

I guess I would use the 360 TQ or the 400 truck as long as they have the linkage for thr auto kickdown.

I do like the TQ and if I had one I would use it but going to buy one I would probably buy new. We have a Street Demon on our truck and are very happy with it.
