Anyone know a good oil dipstick replacement for a 68 chrysler newport 383 bought a spectre one the base is a little bigger the the original the old one broke where it bolts on the motor mount looks like the previous owner tacked it back together.

 

It is supposed to be slightly bigger. IT is a press fit.. Get a length of water pipe leave a 1" piece on the end . Cut a slot in it so it will slide over the dip stick & hammer it in !!!! MAKE sure to get the old piece out first !!!!

 

I got the old piece out it came out pretty easy.
