finally back on and i need help
hey everybody good to be back the forum. i have been off for about a month i guess. been having health problems again. apparently my heart isnt as strong as first thought after my open heart surgery. had to resign from my job which sucked,it was a $50,000.00 a year job. but my health is more important. what really sucks is i have a hard time even washing and waxing my beloved mopar without having to stop and take breaks.
i am filling for disability so we will see what happens there. i already got turned turned once. get this the reasons they gave is because of my age[isnt that discrimination],and i can still walk, sit, and stand. maybe they should be in my shoes and see what it feels like . oh well.
anyways let me stop babbling and get to my issue. sometimes when i first start up my car i get a squealing but only for a few seconds. when I give it hard acceleration it squeals until I get off the gas. the belts are new and also the alternator is new. a friend said its the timing chain going bad. the timing seems to be holding and hasn't went out of time. any help would be greatly appreciated thanx.

I had this proplem too, when I rebuilt my motor. I re placed the alternator and belts as well, it turnd out to be the alternator, Remove fan belt and fire up car,If that is the case alternator bearings are seald and if you can squert a shot of WD-40at them it should releave the squeel.
