Has anybody used these Super 10s? I have a 68 Coronet with a 440 and want a good sound. And do they give you more HP?

I have a friend that put them on his truck. As for sound, they aren't that great on a street vehicle IMO. They are single chambered and tuned for high rpm race performance. They are loud, very similar to straight pipes. But they don't have the mellow tone you get with the 40 series. As far as performance, he didn't notice any, but they are his only upgrade. I'm sure with more upgrades you could see a gain, but probably only around 1 or 2 hp. I personally would buy a good sounding muffler (40 or 44 series) and get hp gains elsewhere, like a good set of headers. Just my 2 cents though.
