Fuel injetion to carb.
Fuel injetion to carb.
I have a 1999 dodge sport 1500 an I'm having wiring harness problems. I would like to switch it over to carbureted if possible!! If so what do I need an how much would it cost?
What engine is in the thing? Whatever you do, you'll need a distributor, so if what you have is crank triggered, that will be a big BIG problem.
What about resale? Smog requirements? I don't know where you live, but I can just about guarantee you that you will drop the resale value by a bunch, and if your area/ surrounding areas have yearly smog inspection requirements, you will NOT be able to sell the truck.
By the way, if you DO pull "all that stuff" off the vehicle, ship it to me, OK?

Dizzy, carb, intake, linkages and fuel system mods will cost more than buying a new wiring harness and installing it. Not to mention, you'll still have to mess with the wiring harness anyways to bypass some stuff.
What wiring harness problems are you having?
