help with a 360
i have a 1988 that is rust seized and would like to just replace the motor.. problem is i need to use the intake, distributor, and exaust manifolds from the 1988... anyone know what year motors i can use? i can get some used 1990s running engines cheap..

"I don't know" You have to be careful. There are the earlier flat tappet LA engines, the late 80's "roller blocks" and then the magnum head engines.

are those 80 s roller blocks anything special other than the roller gear

the 360 is a marine application.. i need the use the intake, exaust manifold, cam, and distributor from the old motor. cam is due to the fact i need the motor to spin the opposite rotation. the motor is fresh water cooled (has green antifreeze) so i do not need marine head gaskets and freeze plugs. but from the info 440roadrunner gave me i opted to go with a 1987 360 out of a low mileage pickup.. thanks guys
