Holley 4160 on cast 383 intake help

Holley 4160 on cast 383 intake help





Anyone mount a holley on a stock 4 barrel intake? Got a trans dapt adapter but the ports dont line up well and tech support said run it,

its a ‘68 383 newport

wondering if anyone has made a better spacer or dealt with this ,

i should have pictures attached

I can't say I've seen worse but some of the adapters for the early Chevy 4v carb manifolds are about the same and they seem to work.

At the risk of fixing a problem that doesn't exist, given the price of aftermarket manifolds (and not forgetting the used market), you might think about a swap and loose a few pounds in the process.

You can always give it a cote of paint like the rest of the motor too keep it stock appearing.
