Lifters

So if you havnt been following Ive had my top end apart for about a month now in my garage. Ive been coating it with wd40 and dumping a bottle of motor oil down the galley and in the lifters to keep if fresh and lubed. My question is, should I give the lifters another oil bath overnight, like during initial assembly of the motor or should they still be oiled up from before? (Hydro lifters)

Thanks

I'm no engine builder by any means but I can't see it hurting. I say do it.

It won't hurt but it's not needed. The other issue is that each lifter has worn on the cam lobe that it is on now. That's why I wouldn't pull them out.
