new guy reporting for duty sir"S
hello i have a 65 plymouth lll it has the 318 motor but sure if it is a A or LA how can i be sure the valve cover has 2 bolts and it is scalloped shaped.where do i find the numbers to tell me what this lady is.thank you

because I'm learning about this stuff how do you know?when i order parts at the local auto store do i need to tell them anything about this type because i wanted to order vale cover gaskets and these that i have didn't come up in the look up?thanks so much for the help

We can't tell you about the computer at the parts store but that is NOT a LA 318, they were called a 318 poly.

awesome sirs thanks again for the help want to get her up and running ill do a tune up and time her up and report back you guys rock my first mopar car and i am having fun.bought her for 2300 new floors installed and seats already recovered door panels are original and look great so far spent 260 on brake stuff old metal lines not done yet.car at work so i do some work at lunch and brake times want to get her home for january buy a new carpet and put the interior back together thanks again forth help will need more help so please be patient
