Offenhauser vs Edelbrock

Been offered a new Offenhauser inlet manifold for my 340, which currently has an Edelbrock performer one. Would I be right in thinking the Offy one is superior to the Edelbrock one giving more Hp and higher revs/airflow?

Has Offy even offered a new manifold since the 70s?

Steve -

What Bob said is correct, it depends on the model and application. Offy was pretty decent back in the day, but Eddy has more current R and D. Unless the model and application are incorrect for your current needs, I'd be hard pressed to switch.

If the Offy and Eddy are similar in design, the odds on a noticeable difference will probably be zero.
