which spark plugs?
I am glad and surprised to see this, as usually the expensive plugs are advised, NGK or Bosch. I also, have always used Champion as this is what Chrylser used and the racers of the day all ran champion in mopars. I usually go with the Firestone tires as well for the same reason.

General consensus in these parts are autolites. I've used Accel in thr past have have gone back to their shortie plugs due to a lack a header clearance. In all honestly, not sure I've seen all that much of a difference. However, the shorties or "peanut" plugs do give better clearance and that means fewer burnt wires.

I use auto lite in my 318 seems to work well with it, seems most like the champians here but i cant seem to have any luck with them, they dont seem to last long where autolites i can use for a long time. maybe cause its a small block and i imagine you- all have big blocks? I set gap at just a slight bit over 0.40, thats what they were set at when i bought the car.
