3:21 rear end

just had an episode while driving to Kentucky weekend before last. Heard a sudden clang and grinding.

Long story short, the rear end was low on fluid and friend the passenger side axle bearing.

My buddy flushed everything out, stuck a new axle in, new bearing, new gasket on the cover and filled 'er up. Drove back to Tennessee and rode like a dream.....until the alternator belt came off one mile from home.....

Long story short I bought a new alternator belt today.....

At east it was only an axle bearing ! I trashed my 3.55 by using a reusable gasket that failed badly. Drove for 20 miles with no/little oil fried the pinion bearing
