6 barrel problem

6 barrel problem
I recently installed an OEM 6 barrel setup on my 69 GTX. It has to idle at 1400 rpm to stay running. I have heard that automatics and manual shifts use a different center carb and my car is automatic. The center carb is a 4144-1. Anybody have any suggestions?
