So when I pick my satellite up the car was originaly a 400 big block with a 727 it comes with a steel crank 400 and a 4 speed trans out of a 400 big black roadrunner I don't remember the year the trans came from but I can find out. It doesn't come with a 727 so I have to put the 4 speed in any who I have the pedals shifter flywheer bell housing and trans z bar and what not I know he said he is missing a clutch not a big deal. And he said something about a mount that's on the frame for the z bar I don't know what its called. I'm looking forward to putting the 4 speed in it. But my main concern is there any site that may have a write up on a manual swap I have the mechanical skills to get it done but not sure how to go about it since I'm new to old mopars. I've made z bars and linkage for old Chevy dump trucks and novas not sure how they mount on the satellites I just wanna make sure that it will be done correct the first time. I found this site that may have the part I need that mounts to the frame but I'm not sure what. It would probably help if I have the car up my shop and seen what parts I actually had I'm hopefully gonna lick the car up this week.any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
