74 D100 automatic to manual tranny swap
I just bought a 1974 D100 with a 318 and a automatic transmission . I will be swaping the engine to a 440 and I want to change to a manual transmission. So heres my question - How hard will it be to swap an automatic transmission to a manual ? What problems might I run into besides the obvious

best bet to make the project affordable is to find a similar truck that has a manual. get everything from the flywheel back as well as the pedal assembly. on your engine, one of the main things is a crank that is drilled as well as machined for a pilot bushing. if not, no problem - mopar still makes a roller bearing that can be used. here is the swap for an a-body, there are similarities for the process.
