NSS question

I have a 1983 D150 that I am swapping in a 318 in place of the slant 6. The engine and 904 tranny I have is from a 1969 Fury. The 1969 904 has the 1 prong NSS switch. The 1983 D150 has the 3 prong. I tore the tranny's apart and was hoping to swap over the manual lever linkage, (putting in the rooster comb from the slant six 904 into the 318 904) but the dimensions are not identical. Does anyone know of a solution.

Wish I could help you out but I've tried to used 70s transmissions for my builds for reasons I don't remember, it been a while. But even then it was mostly 727s. You might have to come up with a newer trans for everything to work.

Nope.... You got to have the 904 / 318 linkage... If not you will burn up the trans.
Or
You could use the Lokar trans conversion kit linkage for the trans.
