Torquelight transmission NO reverse function

Hello Has a 1958 dodge coronet with 318 v8 and torquelight push button automatic. Now a problem has arisen. We were out and heard last week and then we happened to reverse with the handbrake in. Then the reverse went very slowly but forward the car goes as it should. When we got home it was not possible to reverse at all but forward it works. What could be the error? Reversebelt? Rear clutch? The wire? Other? Grateful for answers
