Transmission issue…. Can move the stick every where but no gear

My tranny stop working. But still my shifter can go park, reverse, neutral and drive without engaging. I have a 2015 charger hellcat with only 104 000km and I babied that first year edition. No sign of tranny failing and by searching google and you tube it could be the linkage or solenoid. I check linkage and everything is fine so I brought it to dealership telling them that it have to be solenoid but call me after saying that my tranny is gone that have to be swap after sending me those pictures

metal shaving is one of the symptoms of failing solenoid and I’ve seen worst image but I’m not expert so I want your expertise …. Please… are they trying to rip me off?

Yikes.... That black fluid and metal shavings would lead me to say that, that the internals of the transmission are failing. So I can see how they came to the conclusion to replace or recondition your old transmission.
I suppose you could have them put it back together and take to another shop for a second opinion if you need to? But it looks to me like they are not just trying to sale you a trans...
Make sure to check for a warranty on the work being done....
Good Luck, Hope this solves your issue and you get lots more years of enjoyment out of your ride....

I concur, the metal particles tell the story. Those transmissions are difficult to check the fluid level. It could've been running low which caused low pressure resulting in burnt clutches. Just a guess of course.
