Blower Motor Switch Problem 71 Roadrunner
He folks.
We moved from Baltimore/DC area to SW Florida back in July.
Love having the Blue Bird down here as it no longer has to hibernate for the winter!
Problem with the HVAC blower motor switch. It used to have three settings, now it has only one. Its OK but would like to have it fully functional for the summer (it has working AC).
I did check the resistor inside the black heater/AC box under the glove box. It gets hot when the fan switch is on and fan is running.
My set up has the two slide controls; one for temp and one for six settings. Blower switch is above the sliders. See picture.
I remember the switch used to be finicky about where the switch was positioned and it had 'dead spots'.
Anyone know a good source for a replacement switch?
Also I could use some advice about removing the controls to check and repair or replace the switch.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
