Question E body aftermatket Hoods where to find

Hi we have a 6 pac fiberglass hood and would like a new one like it. The problem is the only one we can find is also lift off and we don't want a lift off any more pins in front hinges in rear.

Check with AAR..... Good Stuff. https://www.aarqualityfiberglass.com/....

Tell them Racerhog sent you from the old MOPARTECH site...

Also... http://www.autometaldirect.com/index.php

Check.. Unlimited, Harwood, Fiberglass Trends, These you have to call. I dont think they list them anymore. But I could be wrong...

You have to be very careful about hinged fiberglass hoods, extremely heavy poorly made junk. Know what you're buying before you put down your money! I've taken lite weight race hoods reinforced them and added material for hinge mounts, however I didn't use springs on the hinges just a prop rod.

Found it. oh yeah. WWW.UP22.COM . it is the DC-794 70-74 Challenger Six Pack Hood (PR5 Scoop) and air box, Front Latching.

Thats the same one that we have but made not as a pin on. I really like how tall the hood is with out the cowl air look. its kind of cheap as well so its a win win. I think I will use the idea of hinges with on springs and front pins with a little prop up stick so the springs dont crack the hood. thanks for the help and the other sites will be used in the future for other parts.
