74 Dodge B200 Van Steering Rag Joint
Help! Can't find any information about a replacement steering rag joint for 74 B200 van.
Does anyone have any info? ...know an aftermarket product to fit? ...have NOS? ...know if there is a material out of which I can make one? (trying to avoid u-joint type, but info on that would be useful if I can't find a rag joint)
Thanks in advance!

I know your post was several, several months ago. Did you find a rag joint kit. I ran into the same opportunity last year too. My local parts guys said this was discontinued. A few weeks later I was in his parts store and found myself standing around waiting to speak to him and was scoping out a display where you find starter bolts, door hinge kits, bushing for Dodge wiper arms, you know what I'm talking about. All parts stores has these. Whilelooking over this rack, there was a tag joint repair kit with the rubber part, bolts, nuts and washers. I picked it up and it was for Gm products and some Chrysler products. I asked him about it and he said that never pulled up as a replacement.
I bought it and finally put it in yesterday. Works like a champ, but the instructions are not the best. Had to take mine apart a couple times. If needed I can explain in detail now.
Thanks, Have A Big Time,
Wade

Had almost exactly the same experience. Just saw it at the store and measured the holes.
Got my shiny chrome steering pump and fancy schmancy pulley by searching GM stuff, too!
Could not get a reman steering box that did not have some play -went through three before finding one that would at least keep me on the road...
...but there is an aftermarket steering box which needs just a bit of modification -forgot who makes it -that I'll pop in later.
Van has made it from San Antonio to near the Canadian border so far!!! Been seeing a lot of wide eyes when people see my Texas plates.
