Break Wheel Cylinders,32 Ply

am restoring a 32 PA plymouth---my brake wheel cylinders are pitted,,,,Wagner used to make them new,,,,,doint think they still do,,,,considering resleveing----Apple charges $ 50.00 if you reasemble white post $80.00 would rather find NOS looking for sugestions----bobnroman@yahoo.com

Could you maybe adapt later 8 3/4 backing plates ?

I'm not a "restore correct" guy and most the guys you'll find rumbling around here are probably in the same class. I'm going to guess you want to keep this correct?

I don't understand your Apple 50 80 comment??

Years ago, if you knew "who" (I was one back then) some outfits had huge big thick Raybestos, Wagner, Airtex, Bendix catalogs. These broke down things like master and wheel cylinders into their individual parts and showed part numbers and sizes for pistons, etc.

If you could find some similar pistons a bit larger, maybe you could have them bored?

But what you seem to have posted for a sleeve price seems a bargain to me. If you can get a reliable outfit to give you a good sleeve job, I'd just go with that.
