I am looking to purchase a 1970 Dodge dart swinger 340
I met a guy at a car show last week who was telling me about how to tell if its a true 70 dart swinger..
One thing he told me was that the front grill should be silver not black,
the car i am looking to get has a black front grill but appears to have bin painted black, the car is orange. The car does not have the stripe on the back but this guy i met told me thats okay that was a delete option
If anyone has any information on all the options that came on a 1970 dodge dart 340 from factory i would like to know. Or if anyone has any good sites i could check Thank you.

 

the grill could have been replaced, to if its a 1970 look at the tag on the door vin.

 

I have owned these. the vin should read: LM23HOR....

 

I dont know much about them but I posted one in the classifieds a few weeks ago. Its in Jacksboro, TX i stopped and looked at it and talked to the guy. He said he has owned the car for 20 years, it is in pretty decent shape he was a pretty big mopar fan and seem to know quite a bit about them. He has a few other mopars for sell too.
