V02 is two-tone paint, and I have never seen it on a Duster, although I have heard of a few that had a painted roof with the vinyl roof trim

CORRECT! I have a 1970 V02 duster with a TX9 velvet black top and FJ6 sassy grass green body with the vinyl top trim splitting the paint line. After researching it I think it is a 1 of 1, 1970 340 4 speed bucket seat car.

does the vin on the title and the car match? if they do it may be a typo on the title. which does happen. on my plymouth the title has the wrong first letter. which says it's a dodge.

It has a '70 nose and tail lights, but the doors and dash are '73 or newer, it looks as if someone swapped some newer parts onto a '70 body and used the '73 vin and title. Is there a door tag on the drivers door? You can also look on the top lip of the radiator support for the vin and compare it to the dash, I bet they dont match.

There are at least two other places that have the VIN stamped, the package tray and the inner trunk lip on the drivers side (might be under the seal). look in those places for the numbers. As it looks now, you have a '70 with a '73 title.
