I recently bought a 1971 440 and while looking for a vehicle to put it in stumbled across a 73 4 door dart /6 and was wondering if anyone had put a 440 in one and if so what does it take

 

Not a direct swap. But if you have fabrication skills and a budget it can be done.

 

Building or modifying motor mounts will be your first hurdle after locating motor and transmission in the correct place.. Motor needs to be offset the same amount as the transmission. Exhaust is the next thing,, the one and only Abody I swapped I've done I used Hooker fenderwell headers and the radiator that came with the 440. A Bbody 8 3/4 rear axel assembly will get you close and I cut down a drive shift from a full size mopar.
Mine was a 67 Valiant 2 door, a fun car.
