Mini Hi-Torgque Starter work on Slant-6?

Hi all,

I'd like to find out if the mopar performance hi-torque starter for V-8s will work with the Slant-6. I believe they should bolt up, but was wondering if there were any problems with such a swap. Has anyone tried this? I'd like to throw out that old tired gear reduction starter for something that cranks the engine faster.

BTW, I've been out of this stuff for a number of years and now my son has recently bought an old Duster...dragging me back in. anyone know of any mopar dealers or speed shops in the Phoenix/Mesa/Chandler/Scottsdale Arizona area that specializes in parts for old mopars?

Thanks

I just got a 67 barracuda with a 225 slant six in pieces and have several starters and one is hi-torque, let me know if it works.
